Maranatha Christian School is excited to welcome all returning students and new families to the 2026 school year. With Prep, Year 7 and Year 12 students commencing yesterday and all other year levels returning today, our campuses are once again filled with energy, connection and anticipation for the year ahead.

We are thrilled to announce that Ethan, one of our talented students, has been selected to represent Victoria in the 2026 Australian Youth Championships (AYC) this January.
This prestigious event is one of the marquee fixtures on the Australian Baseball calendar and will be hosted across three Melbourne clubs. The championships bring together the best youth baseball players from across the country, competing for state pride and showcasing their skills in front of scouts from more than 15 Major League Baseball clubs and US colleges.
Officer students were thrilled to welcome seven baby chicks this week! After 21 days of anticipation, Marshmallow, our resident hen, successfully hatched the chicks. Classes have loved meeting them, and our chicken monitors have enjoyed extra responsibilities. It has been an incredible reminder of God’s creation.
Our Officer campus Local Service project is wrapping up with lots of Christmas care packages ready to bless vulnerable members of our community. Students have packed gifts and written encouragement notes, living out the truth that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). Thank you to our families for making this possible.
Two Maranatha students, Kora and Maxwell, recently showcased their talent and determination at the Victorian State and National BMX Championships. From championship titles to national recognition, their achievements are a testament to their hard work, resilience, and faith. As they prepare for the World Championships next year, we celebrate their journey and the support of our school community.
Class of 2024 Shines Bright
We are thrilled to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our Year 12 students, who have truly excelled both inside and outside the classroom. With 23% of students in the top 10% of the state and a median ATAR of 83.7, the Class of 2024 has set a new benchmark for excellence. We are particularly proud of Howard Hue, our Dux for 2024, who plans to pursue Engineering at Monash University, and Nicholas Michael, our Proxime Accessit. Their success, along with the hard work of all our Year 12s, is a testament to the dedication of their families and teachers. We are excited to see what the Class of 2024 will accomplish in the next chapter of their lives as they seek to do their utmost for His glory. May God use them to help transform the communities in which they live and serve.
Congratulations again to all our Year 12 students.
