We are seeking an experienced and committed educator to join our English department as a Faculty Head, providing strategic and operational leadership.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Faculty Head plays a key leadership role in ensuring that the teaching and learning within their subject area is engaging, aligned, and reflective of a Christ‑centred curriculum.
Reporting to the Director of Teaching & Learning, the Faculty Head leads curriculum development, supports and develops staff, and contributes to the ongoing growth and effectiveness of the School’s educational program.
This role offers an opportunity to influence teaching and learning across our Endeavour Hills and Officer campuses while shaping a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development, implementation and alignment of curriculum across the faculty.
- Promote high‑quality teaching and learning that inspires staff and supports strong student outcomes.
- Lead and mentor teaching staff, fostering teamwork, professional growth and collaboration.
- Coordinate student assessment, reporting and curriculum compliance requirements.

ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a part-time Senior Finance Officer to join our Finance team and support the School’s financial operations and stewardship responsibilities. The Senior Finance Officer is a key member of the Finance team, providing accounting expertise and operational support across financial reporting, payroll support and general accounting functions. This is a newly created part-time (0.6 FTE) role within the Finance team, reflecting the School’s commitment to strengthening financial governance and supporting continued growth. Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role contributes to accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
Duties include:
- Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and month-end processes.
- Assisting with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including BAS, Census reporting and management reports.
- Providing operational support and backup across Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.
This role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to service, integrity and excellence.

We are seeking a part-time (0.6 FTE) Payroll Officer to join our Finance team and support the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll services across the School. The Payroll Officer is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of the School’s payroll function, ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant processing of payroll and employee entitlements. This position has become available following the upcoming retirement of the School’s current Payroll Officer, who has served Maranatha Christian School with dedication.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider Finance team, this role plays an important part in supporting staff and maintaining strong financial governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end payroll function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant processing of payroll and employee entitlements
- Ensuring compliance with PAYG, superannuation, and relevant taxation and superannuation legislation
- Reviewing and approving timesheets, maintaining payroll records, and responding professionally to payroll-related staff enquiries
- Assisting with associated finance activities as required, including managing creditor payments and responding to related enquiries

This role would suit an experienced payroll professional who is well organised, discreet and service‑focused. The successful applicant will bring demonstrated payroll and accounting experience, ideally within an education or not‑for‑profit environment, along with strong systems capability and advanced Excel skills.
