MANAGEMENT

Due to continued school growth, we are seeking to appoint an experienced committed Christian educator to join our Executive Leadership Team as Director of Primary Schools.

The Director of Primary Schools is a leadership role responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of Primary education across the School’s campuses.

This role focuses on building strong educational foundations, nurturing student wellbeing, and fostering a Christ-centred culture throughout the primary years.

Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Primary Schools plays a key role in implementing the School’s Strategic Plan and ensuring a safe, supportive and engaging environment for all Primary students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Primary School operations across campuses
  • Foster a strong Christ-centred culture and learning environment
  • Oversee student wellbeing, behaviour and academic progress
  • Lead, mentor and develop Primary staff
  • Collaborate with leadership on curriculum, strategy and school improvement

This role would suit a school leader with future aspiration to be a school principal.

oPERATIONAL rOLES

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a part-time Senior Finance Officer to join our Finance team and support the School’s financial operations and stewardship responsibilities. The Senior Finance Officer is a key member of the Finance team, providing accounting expertise and operational support across financial reporting, payroll support and general accounting functions. This is a newly created part-time (0.6 FTE) role within the Finance team, reflecting the School’s commitment to strengthening financial governance and supporting continued growth. Working closely with the Finance Manager, this role contributes to accurate reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement of financial processes.

Duties include:

  • Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and month-end processes.
  • Assisting with statutory and internal reporting requirements, including BAS, Census reporting and management reports.
  • Providing operational support and backup across Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.

This role would suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to service, integrity and excellence.  

ABOUT THE PERSON

Demonstrated accounting experience with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, ideally within an education or not-for-profit environment. Possess strong systems capability and advanced Excel skills. Professional, approachable and collaborative, with high integrity, discretion and confidentiality, and a proactive commitment to continuous improvement.
