ENROLMENT / YEar 7 2027 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST OFFICER CAMPUS
Year 7 at the Officer Campus commencing in 2027
For more than fifty years Maranatha has given students the opportunity to grow, excel and transform. We focus on high impact teaching strategies, building biblical character and providing outstanding pastoral care. Maranatha is thrilled to announce the introduction of Year 7 at the Officer Campus commencing in 2027. We are inviting applications for these classes.
Maranatha’s vision has always been to have two thriving ELC – Year 12 campuses. That vision is now being realised with our current Year 5 students set to become inaugural students at our Middle School in Officer.
To prepare for this transition, plans are now underway for the construction of a collaborative Middle School Centre at Officer.

Preparing Year 7s for life beyond the classroom
Cocurricular Program
At Maranatha Christian School, we equip Year 7 students with practical skills and rich experiences through a dynamic co-curricular program that fosters leadership, creativity and personal growth.

Sport
Students represent Maranatha in a variety of sports each semester, with regular lunchtime training to build skills and teamwork.

Discovery Program
Tailored for Years 5–8, our Discovery program offers hands on learning beyond the classroom. Students choose interest based activities such as Robotics, Outdoor Survival, Cooking, Garden Sculpture, Masterminds and Wordplay, Teddy Bear Making and Mural Art.

Camps
Year 7 students take part in our camp program, designed to strengthen relationships, resilience and confidence in new settings. All our programs are based on Christian values and aim to inspire students to lead with compassion, courage, and creativity.
Belonging
Maranatha Christian School offers a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued, supported and connected. Within the Middle School from Year 7 to Year 9, our curriculum and pedagogy work to encourage students’ personal growth and wellbeing, as well as academic rigour.
Students feel supported in their endeavours and become even more critical thinkers and effective communicators.

Identity in Christ
At Maranatha, we encourage students to understand that their identity is found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As they grow in faith, they begin to see themselves through God’s eyes—valued, loved, and created with purpose. Rather than measuring their worth by worldly standards or the opinions of others, students are guided to embrace their identity as children of God.
Our hope is that this foundation shapes their character, choices, and confidence as they pursue God’s unique plans for their lives.
Transition Program
Our transition programs support new students and their parents, ensuring a smooth start to what can be both an exciting and challenging time. Beginning the year prior to enrolment, these programs focus on building connections, confidence, and friendships. Students are introduced to key aspects of daily life such as their Homegroup teacher, library, IT, and lockers to help them feel prepared and familiar with their environment. Every student joins a House team, takes part in cocurricular activities and can explore a range of clubs and activities to help them find their place within the school.
