Scholarships

Maranatha Christian School offers a range of means-tested scholarships.

At Maranatha Christian School, we are committed to making Christian education accessible to families and students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.
Our scholarship program recognises students whose circumstances, character and potential align with the heart of our school community. We invite families to explore the scholarship opportunities below and learn more about eligibility and application requirements.

The Jennifer Munyard Scholarship provides support for students who have experienced significant trauma, helping them access a safe and nurturing Christian learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially and spiritually. Created in honour of the late Jennifer Munyard, the scholarship reflects her deep commitment to caring for vulnerable young people.

Families wishing to apply for the Service Scholarship are asked to complete the following steps:

How To Apply

  1. Complete an Online Enrolment Application Form
  2. Gather the required supporting documentation, including:
    • The two most recent tax returns for all income earners within the household.
    • Report from either Psychologist, Paediatrician, Church Minister, Social Worker or other specialists, to support this application, verifying that the student meets criteria of experiencing significant trauma (this report will be treated highly confidentially).
  3. Email all supporting documentation to enrolments@maranatha.vic.edu.au, ensuring applicant’s name and the relevant scholarship name are clearly referenced in the subject line.
Applications will be reviewed once the enrolment application and all required supporting documentation have been received.

Successful applicants may be invited to attend an interview as part of the assessment process.
