Local Service Project: The Great Bake Off

Local Service

Our Officer Campus is currently in full bake mode as students enthusiastically take part in this term’s local service project, The Great Bake Off.

Each week, students from ELC through to Year 6 are baking special treats to share with others in need. This initiative is grounded in Matthew 25:40, reminding us that whatever we do for those who are vulnerable, we are doing for Jesus. For him, with him, to him. It is a wonderful way for our students to put their faith into action.

Every Thursday night, these baked goods are distributed through a local outreach program Follow Bless Collective in Pakenham, bringing both practical support and encouragement to those who receive them.

This project is also creating meaningful moments at home as families take time to bake together.

Messages of hope:

We have loved seeing the creativity of our Early Learning, Prep, Year 1s and 2s so far and we look forward to our Year 3s and 4s joining in next week. The photos and messages shared by families have been so encouraging.
