At the close of each year, Maranatha gathers for our Thanksgiving Services.
It is a special time to reflect on the year that has passed and to give praise and thanks to the Lord for His sovereign presence in our community. These services are cherished moments when students, parents, and staff come together to honour God and celebrate His faithfulness.
This year, with the Endeavour Hills Hall unavailable due to new flooring installation, we held five separate Thanksgiving Services for the different sections of the school. Each service was a wonderful time of singing, hearing from the Board, celebrating significant achievements, and thanking God for all He has done throughout the year.
We were blessed to have Pastor Ailen Edgar share with us. Pastor Edgar, a Maranatha parent and leader of Youth Alive Victoria alongside her husband, spoke from 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances…” Drawing from Scripture and her own experiences, she encouraged us with practical ways to cultivate an attitude of thankfulness and allow God to shape our hearts.
These services truly capture the heart of our school as we continue to give “Our Utmost for His Glory.”
