Yesterday, our school community gathered to formally recognise and celebrate the Class of 2026 at their Year 12 Graduation Assembly.
As students completed their final official duties at school, families, staff and friends joined together to reflect on a journey that, for many, has spanned more than a decade. A special tribute presentation honoured the longstanding relationships and memories formed throughout their years at Maranatha.
It was a privilege to hear from our School Captain, whose address reflected on the experiences, challenges and friendships that have shaped the graduating class. Students were also recognised for their academic achievements and faithful service contributions, highlighting the many ways they have enriched our school community.
One of the highlights of the assembly was the tradition of our Year 12 students exchanging gifts with our Prep students. Shared in front of peers, teachers, staff and loved ones, it served as a beautiful reminder of the connections that span generations within our school community.
Following the assembly, families, students and staff enjoyed time together over a light lunch, and taking lots of photographs.
As the Class of 2026 continue their preparations for their exams, we thank God for His faithfulness throughout their journey and pray His blessing upon each student as they finalise their schooling journey.
