Junior Christian School Leadership Conference

Junior School Leaders Attend Student Leadership Conference

On Monday 16 February, our Junior School Leaders, accompanied by our Heads of Junior School, had the privilege of visiting Oxley Christian College to attend a Student Leadership Conference focused on Christian leadership and service.
Throughout the day, students explored key leadership concepts through various sessions, practical activities, interactive group workshops and small‑group discussions. These experiences encouraged students to think deeply about what it means to lead with integrity, humility and purpose in a Christian community.

The theme of the conference, Created for Good, was based on Ephesians 2:10:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Guided by this message, our students were invited to discover the leader within and reflect on how God has uniquely created each of them to do good in the world. They were challenged to recognise their individual gifts and strengths, and to consider how these can be used to serve others and honour God.
The conference equipped our Junior School Leaders with practical tools and renewed confidence to live and lead well, both within our school community and beyond. It was an encouraging and inspiring experience that reinforced our commitment to developing servant‑hearted leaders who seek to make a positive difference for Christ in our communities.
