Harmony Day

Celebrating Harmony Day at Maranatha Christian School

Harmony Day was celebrated on Friday 20th and was a special opportunity for students to come together to recognise and celebrate our rich cultural diversity. From the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world, it was a good reminder of the value of understanding, appreciation and community within our school.
Students enjoyed a range of activities designed to explore the meaning of Harmony Day, including special classroom experiences and a cultural free dress day. A highlight for many was the opportunity to taste and experience different cultures, with a variety of world cuisines available for purchase on the day.

Harmony Day was a wonderful celebration of the diverse backgrounds represented within our school community and a reflection of our commitment to creating a welcoming environment where every student feels known, valued and included.
