Congratulations to Logan Ward, Year 9 student, who was recently awarded the Community Spirit and Leadership Award by Julian Hill MP Federal Member for Bruce. This recognition celebrates the outstanding efforts of those who demonstrate exceptional leadership, initiative and service to their local communities.
In a world that often emphasises personal achievement, it is good to see leadership being defined in terms of service to others. Above all else, good leadership is ALWAYS about other people—a principle that was clear as residents from across the Bruce electorate were recognised for their contributions.
The awards ceremony was a wonderful reminder that leadership is not reserved for a select few but is something that can and should be nurtured at every age.
