More Blessed to Give Than Receive

More Blessed to Give Than Receive

A Lesson from Love Christmas – Our Local Service Project

As Love Christmas at the Officer campus wraps up, we are humbled by the generosity of our Maranatha Christian School families. Thank you to your support, countless Christmas care packages have been packed by our students and are ready for distribution through our charity partner, Connect Community Care.

Each package will be hand delivered to some of the most vulnerable and lonely members of the community, accompanied by a handwritten note of encouragement by our students. These simple gestures make a lasting impact, many recipients still have last year’s cards displayed on their fridges!

This project is more than just giving gifts; it is about living out the truth that “it is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). Our students have experienced firsthand the joy of generosity, reflecting the ultimate example of giving: God’s gift of His Son, Jesus Christ.
