Our Year 11 Biology students visited Casey Tech to deepen their understanding of genetics through a hands-on learning experience.
Students explored the processes involved in genetic testing and examined the ethical considerations surrounding genetic diagnosis and decision-making. The excursion provided a valuable opportunity to connect classroom concepts with real-world scientific applications, helping students gain a greater appreciation for the role of genetics in modern science.
