Year 11 Gala: A Night of Celebration, Community and Impact

The Year 11 Gala was a memorable evening of celebration, community and giving, raising just over $2,300 for HopeBuilders International. The night featured a fun informal silent auction, a live auction, dancing and musical performances by students in the Year 11 cohort. It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance, as well as other guests invited by students.

Maranatha Christian School has had the privilege of sending two teams to Uganda and it was truly special to hear stories of how these experiences have impacted both the students and the communities they served. You can learn more about these initiatives on our Global and Local Service page. Glen Dekker, a representative from the Hope Builders Board, shared the heart behind the organisation, empowering individuals through education and skill development to break the cycle of poverty in Uganda.

The evening was memorable, serving as a reminder of the power of community coming together to make a difference. Maranatha is deeply grateful for the partnership with HopeBuilders and looks forward to continuing to support them and the incredible work they are doing.
