We are thrilled to share encouraging news from this year’s Education Perfect Languages Championship, with Maranatha Christian School students achieving strong results in Chinese on a global stage.
Our students placed 1st globally in Chinese in the 251–500 students category, and 6th overall out of 733 schools worldwide. These results are a reflection of the consistent effort, perseverance and enthusiasm shown by our students throughout the competition.
Across the school, 26 awards were earned by Maranatha students, with nearly half achieved by our Year 7 cohort. It is especially pleasing to see younger students embracing the opportunity and building confidence early in their language learning journey.
The Education Perfect Languages Championship encourages regular practice and a growth mindset. Throughout the competition, our students demonstrated commitment as they developed their skills, extended their vocabulary and engaged in their learning.
We are thankful to our Languages staff for their encouragement and guidance. Their support plays a significant role in nurturing both capability and confidence in our students. We give thanks for the opportunity for our students to grow as learners and are encouraged to see them developing skills that will serve them well in a connected world.
