Last Wednesday evening, Maranatha Association Members came together for their annual dinner, enjoying a wonderful opportunity to connect with like minded parents and strengthen the sense of community our school was built on.

 

A highlight of the evening was a presentation by Maranatha parent, author and speaker Dr Chris Watkin, whose books include Biblical Critical Theory and The Gift of Culture. Drawing on his expertise and deep commitment to Christian education, Chris explored the topic “Christian Education in the Age of AI: What Changes and What Doesn’t?” His thought provoking presentation challenged us to consider how rapidly changing technology intersects with the enduring truths, purpose and distinctiveness of Christian schooling. The session sparked great discussion and meaningful conversations.

Association membership plays a vital role in maintaining Maranatha’s vision, and shaping it’s future, and we are grateful for all who continue to support and serve through membership.
