Maranatha Christian School Reunion

A fabulous evening of reconnection and reflection marked Maranatha Christian School’s recent alumni reunion, as we welcomed back the Classes of 1986, 1996, 2006 and 2016.

Despite unsettled weather earlier in the day, the storms held off and the evening unfolded beautifully, a reminder of God’s gracious provision as past students returned to the school grounds where their journeys first began.
Former students enjoyed the opportunity to walk through familiar spaces before gathering in one of Maranatha’s newest buildings, the Senior School Centre, a place that did not exist during their school years. While facilities may have changed over time, the heart of the school remains the same. Memories came flooding back, helped along by items brought out from the archives, sparking conversation, laughter and shared stories from years gone by.
The evening was filled with chatter as old friends reconnected and new friendships were formed. After sharing a lovely dinner together, alumni had time to roam the corridors they once walked as students, as well as explore newer learning spaces that reflect the school’s continued growth and commitment to Christian education. It was a wonderful (and late) night of reminiscing, reflection and creating new memories.

At Maranatha Christian School, we are proud to be a school for life. Our alumni are always welcome back, and we hope to continue walking alongside them as teachers, mentors and community members for life.
