Officer Run Club

Despite the colder mornings, our Officer Running Club has continued to thrive throughout winter, with great attendance from students eager to start their day with movement and fun.

Each week, students from across year levels 3 – 6 have come together to build friendships, develop healthy habits and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. The club provides valuable opportunities for cross-age interaction, with older and younger students encouraging one another and creating a strong sense of community. Alongside their running, students have been involved in movement skills that support their health and fitness.

Running Club is about more than exercise. It helps students begin the day energised, focused and ready for learning while fostering positive relationships with peers, staff and families. A highlight of the program is the wonderful breakfast provided by our dedicated parent helpers. In keeping with tradition, students celebrated the end of term with an extra-special breakfast featuring waffles and ice cream, a well-earned reward for their enthusiasm and commitment throughout the term.

Thank you to our staff, parent helpers and families for making Running Club such a success. Run Club returns in Week 3 of Term 4. Students who have already registered do not need to sign up again. We look forward to another fantastic term of running together.
