ANZAC Services were held across both campuses today, providing a meaningful opportunity for students, staff and families to come together in reflection. It was a special time as we honoured all those who have served our country and acknowledged that for many, the impact of war continues long after the battlefields have fallen silent.
We are grateful to Mr Jackson for sharing the personal stories of his family, who served both during and beyond times of war, including the remarkable way his great‑grandparents met as a result of wartime events. These stories brought history to life for our students and reminded us of the deep personal sacrifices behind service and remembrance.
Above all, the service was a timely reminder that even in seasons of hardship and loss, God is present and able to transform despair into hope and to bring light in the darkest moments.
