At the close of each year, Maranatha gathers for our Thanksgiving Services.
It is a special time to reflect on the year that has passed and to give praise and thanks to the Lord for His sovereign presence in our community. These services are cherished moments when students, parents, and staff come together to honour God and celebrate His faithfulness.
We are thrilled to announce that Ethan, one of our talented students, has been selected to represent Victoria in the 2026 Australian Youth Championships (AYC) this January.
This prestigious event is one of the marquee fixtures on the Australian Baseball calendar and will be hosted across three Melbourne clubs. The championships bring together the best youth baseball players from across the country, competing for state pride and showcasing their skills in front of scouts from more than 15 Major League Baseball clubs and US colleges.
As the year ends, change is ahead. New classes, new seasons, new opportunities. It can feel exciting or challenging, but it’s where growth happens. Change is inevitable, but with support and God’s promises, our students are equipped for what’s ahead!

Officer students were thrilled to welcome seven baby chicks this week! After 21 days of anticipation, Marshmallow, our resident hen, successfully hatched the chicks.
