Go the Extra Mile for Uganda

Throughout August our school community is once again coming together to support children and families in Uganda through our Go the Extra Mile global service initiative. Partnering with HopeBuilders International, students and staff are being encouraged to “go the extra mile” by committing to a personal fitness challenge, whether that’s walking, running, training or pursuing another physical goal, while raising funds through sponsorship.

Last year, our community raised more than $12,000 to support the Home of Hope community in Uganda. This year, we are aiming to raise $5,000 and continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.

Alongside the fundraising effort, students will enjoy friendly competitions, including class fundraising challenges and a secondary basketball competition, all designed to encourage participation, teamwork and service.Every step taken and every dollar raised helps extend hope beyond our school community and into the lives of children and families who need it most.
